ABOUT

Historic Barn Venue

Newly rebuilt 110-year-old post and beam barn gives you a rustic yet glam feel. Along with the barn’s cathedral-like pitch and beautiful chandeliers is a charming historic Italianate home with soaring ceilings and separate get ready quarters and entrances for the couple. Nestled on 7 acres in the midst of country fields, this historic home and barn is in quaint rural Attica, just 20 minutes from West Lafayette and 60 minutes northwest of Indianapolis.

Our History

Vignette Farms is situated on a portion of the original Odell farm, which was comprised of 400 acres in Fountain County. Telemachus Odell, son of state senator John Odell, built the Italianate in 1880. The home was lovingly restored by local couple Don and Bonnie Opperman during the 1970s and lived here nearly 40 years.

In 2018, we purchased the home. We are happy stewards of this historic property and love sharing it with couples as they begin their married life.
